  • Long overshadowed by its more acclaimed, lengthier neighbour to the East, the wall surrounding the Kumbhalgarh fort in Rajasthan is the second largest continuous wall on Earth. The Kumbhalgarh fort was built in the 15th century by the Maharana Rana Kumbha. The wall extends over 36 kilometers around the fort snaking through valleys and mountain tops of the Aravali range. This has been the kingdom's greatest advantage lending the "unconquerable" status to the fort.
